Welcome to the Overnight Experimental Show... a radio show that aired on WERS 88.9 FM in Boston, MA from September 27, 2002 till some time in early 2004. Over the course of its life, hundreds of hours of the Overnight Experimental show were recorded live. Those recordings are presented here.

A collaboration between Shawn and Bryan, these recordings document these hosts' convergent and divergent interests as they collide on the public air waves. Listening to the show on these pages you'll hear musical and vocal recordings from locations around the world recorded throughout modern time and combined with live performance, improvisation, and the paranoia inherent to the hours between 3 and 6 am.

We recognize that experimental radio isn't a new thing -- and our style of throw it against the wall and see what sticks has surely been executed with more grace -- these recordings reflect the energy and creativity of a pair of college students set on the stage of a populace uncertain of its country and its media.

This website is meant merely to document all the recorded moments of that time and place: from the gallant and triumphant, to the awkward and absurd, and to the coincidental and sublime.
